Your Guides

Wendy Swanson L.Ac, MBA, ERYT500

Wendy is a board-certified licensed acupuncturist who has had her own business since 2007. She owned and operated two successful yoga studios from 2010 – 2019. Wendy has a Masters in Business with a concentration in marketing from Rutgers University and worked for 15 years in corporate sales and marketing. She served as vice president of Rowe Camp & Conference Center’s board of directors. She has been leading retreats in various forms for 30 years. She is an avid writer and loves being outdoors and spending time with her husband, daughter, and flatcoat retriever.

Kathleen McIntyre MSFR

Kathleen, forest ecologist turned nature therapist, is Co-founder and Director of Mindfulness and Outdoor Leadership at the Davidson Green School in Davidson, NC. She began designing and facilitating retreat experiences in the mid-nineties as the founder of an adventure travel business guiding individuals throughout the southeast, and she now leads international retreats. Kathleen is creating an online community called NatureSoma, a resource and collective of highly skilled individuals from around the world who support accessing the benefits of Nature for healing and well-being. She is the author of The Nature Reset, releasing March 14th, 2024.
