Neighboring Yellowstone National Park and surrounded by awe-inspiring peaks, tributaries of the Yellowstone River, mountain meadows, and grasslands – this landscape creates a tapestry of rich biodiversity which elk, mountain goats, grizzly and black bears, bighorn sheep, whitetail and mule deer, and mountain lions call home. Our home base, B-Bar Ranch, stewards to 9,000 acres, is committed to land conservation and restoration – which enhance the experience of our inner reclamation and rewilding.
You will be treated to 3 delicious home-cooked meals per day. Even though we are staying at a grass-fed sustainable cattle ranch, vegetarians will find an abundance of fresh vegetables and non-meat protein. Food is an important part of our retreat experience, so you can expect healthy, fresh meals. Bar Ranch can accommodate dietary restrictions. The food was a true highlight when we took a group in 2024.

Maryanne Mott and her husband Herman Warsh (now deceased), bought B Bar Ranch in 1978. Maryanne continues to own and manage the ranch which raises organically certified heritage cattle for beef and hosts guests and groups. She steers the ranch to embrace ecologically responsible practices, to use humane treatment of livestock and wildlife, and to protect existing values of natural resources and agriculture.
B Bar Ranch has yoga mats for our use. So you are all set!
